All in...

My daughter tells me I have issues. She says I get completely and utterly consumed. When I do something or am interested in something I go all in. I research, I educate, and I know nothing else. Red Yeti Outdoors has been no different. I am all in...but why?

I've always tried to treat people with respect, just as I would want to be treated. "Tried" is the key word. My actions didn't always align with my thoughts. There were times that my mouth would act faster than my mind. But the older I get the more compassionate I hope I've become. I've experienced heartbreak. I've experienced loss. And I've felt the lowest I thought I could possibly be...But with all of those it's allowed me to learn exactly who I am. 

Who I am is a man that loves his family more than words will ever be able to express. My daughter is a young woman that has the potential to do something truly special in her life and to make others the same. I am a man that has found true friendship in those that have helped me through some of my difficult times, and realized the friends that have been in my life are more than just friends, they truly are an extension of family. I'm also a man that has realized that each day is not a I promise. We are not guaranteed that our eyes will open to see the sun the next morning. 

So what do we do? We do exactly as Red Yeti Outdoors would. We live every second that we have. So many of us don't take the time to get off the road and hike a path. I assure you when you do, you'll be amazed. Paddle a kayak. To hear the only sound of your paddle dipping into the water to propel you is one of the most peaceful things you will experience. Take a bike ride. You don't have to mountain bike on a single track or you don't have to be dressed in head to toe spandex(please don't), but ride around town like you are 12 years old again. 

Red Yeti Outdoors wants to remind everyone that we have the power over our own happiness...and others. Smile, and make it a point to make one person each day feel like they are good and wanted in your life. Make your community smile. Be remembered for the person you are. 

So yes, I have become all consumed by Red Yeti Outdoors. In my heart I know the good we can do for ourselves, and for others. I am, all in...
